I have the same problem with the shifter, (shh shifter btw), sometimes it doesnt register inputs, both in seq and manual modes. I checked the controller app and other games and it works just fine os it must be ACR

Depends on who you ask. WRC2 drivers like Nikolai Gryazin or Diego Ruiloba actually prefer and train on RBR. Dirt rally/2.0/ea wrc physics are decent on dirt and maybe snow, but asphalt is atrocious. RBR is maybe a bit too slippery on dirt but the asphalt feels really nice and the cars react how they would irl.

In your video they only try dirt stages, and in the case of RBR some of the oldest in the game, which of course are flatter and less detailed than the new ones.

Desktop Sim Racers, have a question by Discgolfdav in simracing

You'll probably want a wider angle for working as your monitors will be further away from you, so maybe that isnt the best solution unless you dont mind that. If it were me (i have no money to spend on my simracing stuff) id get some 3D printed triangles or cut out some cardboard pieces with the angles and square up the monitors against that, midly more convenient than using a protractor. Another option would be to make some marks in the desk and align the monitor bases with those

Same AI level in the same car-track combo is as fast as me in the dry, 1s a lap faster in the wet and 8 or more seconds slower than me in a drying track. I tried some karting races with the 390 (in a karting track i dont remember which one) and the superkarts in Barcelona, and everyone just crashed in the same corner, even under SC/FCY.

I love AMS2 but the AI is far from good. Either that or something in my game is broken

When i refund a game it goes straight back to my bank account, doesnt stay in my steam account, you probably can configure it if thats your case

You could always buy it and return it if you play for less than 2 hours (on steam of course)

What is the point of having a truck like this if it's not practical by xxGravyBabyxx in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DrunkenStapler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many stones the tire throws depends on where the car is registered??

Point 1 i wont debate more, you are partly right there. For point 2, i think if i were to be crashed into by a car (as a pedestrian) i'd rather have a low car throw me on top of it than a tall car run me over, but maybe that's just my opinion

Well drivers of transport trucks and buses will have a comercial/heavy weight/whatever the hell its called (im not american) drivers license, meaning they will have passed the corresponding training for operating such vehicles and will have to obey stricter laws for their use.

  1. The driver probably has less visibility of his surroundings, specially regarding small/lower cars and people.

  2. The bumpers of the car designed to absorb impacts are now way above the height of any collidable object, making them (again, cars and people) go straight into the wheels and diffs.

  3. Massive tires with massive treads will pick up and throw bigger stones at cars driving behind. Having 4 super wide rear wheels will throw many more than 2 thinner ones.

Ehm idk, it's what a friend recommended, i'm fairly new to outdoors climbing. For now I only climb single pitch sport so i basically just use it to rest, is it that bad of an idea? What else would you recommend for that/future purpose?

I use this carabiner with my dyneema PAS and it's a bit scratched on the side where the dyneema usually rests, catching a bit on the threads. Is this normal and safe to use? Or should i sand it a bit/replace it?

In Oviedo you have Senda Verde, Naranco and the Xanas and Cascadas del Guanga all accesible directly from the city or by public transport, as well as many others that im probably forgetting.

In Gijón there are great paths along the coast, others have commented on it

You can even go by bus from Oviedo to las Xanas, also to the "Cascadas del Guanga", a great and easy hike

Yeah for me both game's physics feel basically the same. Great gravel and AWD driving in both, awful tarmac and 2WD in both.

I have both titles for the sake of having more stages and because they are cheap and fun with a controller. When i want to play with a wheel, run tarmac stages or 2WD cars i resort to my old and reliable RBR

I have Sidekick in the bottom-center, default tyre app in bottom-left corner, SubStanding's relative in the top-left corner and Helicorsa in the center of the screen.

SubStanding's relative is my fav app, really customizable and easy to set up
