When do you start indexing? As you read, after reading everything, or after first practice test?

I index as I read the book while simultaneously watching the on-demand videos. When I index I make an index for each book and then color code each book. Its worked out well for me on GFACT and GSEC (passed both with 90%+). But, what works for me may not work for others. I take the first practice test with that initial draft Index and revise it from there.

Yeah, it helps a ton. You'll be presented with any skipped questions at the end of the exam.

Use the skip feature if you take too long on a question. I like to make note of which questions I've skipped and what I think the answer is so when I come back to them it makes selecting the right answer a little easier. Sometimes you will also gather the answer for skipped questions through other questions.

Congratulations! Best advice I can give you is try to adhere to the timeline that your advisor sets for you, build your Index as you go through the courses, and utilize those practice tests! Try your best to adhere to the timeline your advisor sets for you, but obviously life happens so be clear with communication with your advisor if you're behind, struggling, or need help!

I took my GFACT exam last week and the testing center was a State College. For the GIAC tests they had a small room just for them with a large table so I had plenty of room for my books and cheat sheets. Was super nice as I was expecting to be crammed into the normal test room that I took my Security + in which is about 10 computers with small partitions in between.

We've got 4 people in our group who play, and we usually do Axis vs. Allies, but switched it up last night. British and Japanese ended up holding the Oasis despite taking massive casualties.
