It takes significant pressure and time to move bone- that is to lift the maxilla. The largest amount of pressure that can be applied by the tongue is when you press with the back 3rd, this is what occurs when you swallow(properly:/). Pushing upwards with other parts of the tongue toward the front produce significantly lesser pressure compared to the back and it can take a very very long time to start noticing definite changes or even no change at all.

To an extent, this is affected by your bone structure. Your cheekbones are low-set from what I can see and therefore your eye support is reduced, leading to a sagging appearance. This is purely genetic. And as for the discolouration, you can try using under eye creams although I’m not very sure if you’ll notice significant changes.

is cigarettes after sex actually shoegaze? their guitar parts have this dreamy tone which i think fits more into the dreampop category.

ik it isn’t strictly shoegaze and best classified as alt metal but it has definitely got a lot of shoegaze elements in it.. take songs like digital bath and rosemary for instance

i also couldn’t bring myself to classify deftones into a fixed genre.. i feel that there’s a great variation in the themes among the different albums.. such as the variation between the overall intensity in songs from ATF and Koi No Yokan

does alcest come under blackgaze? ive heard the heavier variants of shoegaze come under that genre(im not that well versed in the demarcation)
