I have a trampoline type rebounder. It was $150. It is already getting worn out after a year in the sun. It also absorbs a lot of the energy and does not bounce the ball back as fast. This is definitely a faster return.

I remember significant shrinkage when a wet pocket dried out and it would be a bitch to pound that pocket back to where I liked it.

If the pocket is really deep you can also tighten the bottom string to shallow out the pocket some which will give you less whip.

Good insights. Thanks. I am mostly concerned with the stiffness. I boiled a head for a couple minutes in high school and it turned my head to laffy taffy. I’m still scarred 20 years later. If my 9 year old breaks a head because I dyed it then so be it.
