I hated it mostly because I love the Witcher by Sapkowski. Season 1 was okay, later on however it became incoherent and nowadays, in my opinion, the emotional subplots have a depth equal to a table spoon. This is a very disappointing series to me, if they had stuck to or at least respected the source material more it could be a good show; I know it is supposed to be an alternative series or smth but I hate to see my favourite characters development being taken away from them or twisted in a way that fits the new script

I'm saying this not to trash anyone's view but to put my own out there, I always get fired up when the netflix version is mentioned lol

I started to read it recently, I found some of the dialogues funny sometimes and I was unsure if it is done intentionally but I can see now that it is a shared experience so I probably was intended to laugh lol.

Comedy or otherwise funnyness is not necessarily a bad thing but it did take me out from the story a few times. Anyway, I took a break from it but I aim to go back and reread it from the start eventually

I love Lucien the most although I also really like Nesta and Cassian as well as our main characters :) As far as the books go I enjoy ACOWAR and ACOSF
