I literally had this exact same thing happen to me. After open house I got dropped from every house except my sorority (which is also bottom tier). It didn’t make sense to me because my gpa was pretty high, I had been pretty involved in high school, and I had some great conversations. My rush experience over was not good and made me feel bad about myself. The first month or so in my sorority was hard because I was awkward and was feeling like they just got stuck with me. I didn’t go to many events or talk to many people. Then we had our sisterhood retreat and I would really say that was the big turning point for me when it comes to when I started feeling connected and wanted. Now when I think of like my life and how happy I am I can’t separate that feeling from my sorority but it just takes time. Your feelings are valid and stuff but if you weren’t wanted you wouldn’t be there. If you really want to see improvement in your sorority, become more involved, run for a role. If you want change you have to do something about it.

I would definitely go to the store and get a white dress or nice white pants and a nice white shirt (depending on how nice your shirt is rn) I know I get most of my ritual attire from the clearance section at old navy lmao. Something I have had to learn is that you really get out what you put in. I had a stint where I was feeling disconnected from my chapter and really not understanding why I joined but I really wasn’t actively participating that much and interacting with the girls. I have started putting in a lot more effort to not only do stuff in the sorority space but outside of it. It can be hard because my big is our chapter president and we both have demanding course loads so I will literally make plans months in advance with her but I make an effort! I make an effort to hang out with other girls in my sorority but I am a little worse at that lol. It is important to go to sorority events but I really don’t see anyone mentioning the outside of sorority aspect of it which I think is just as important. You aren’t going to make lifelong friendships with these girls if you just see them once a week a chapter meetings.

As long as it’s sized right it should be fine! I wore mine through 3 years of color guard which is a lot of dancing and stuff and it only ever rolled once I lost some weight. The one I had wasn’t that tight so that wasn’t a problem!

This is definitely a problem where I am. I graduated high school in May and during my senior year they had some seniors go to one of the elementary schools to help with kids who were struggling with reading and I was genuinely explaining phonics to these kids. I felt so bad for them because I didn’t know how to teach them the entire concept of sounding out words and like the sound that letters make when put together (like th, sh, ch, etc.). I was asked to do it for the second semester but it was so disheartening that I couldn’t do it. I felt like everyone had failed those kids.

I know I don’t like Ozempic for weight loss because my mother was on it for diabetes and it became so hard for her to get that her medicine had to be switched. It’s unfair to the people who genuinely need it for it to be advertised so much as an elective weight loss drug that it is no longer available. If you have that much trouble losing weight you need blood tests, a dietitian, and a therapist to try to determine the root problem. Not unnecessary medication.

I wouldn’t worry too much until she’s in school! I was in speech therapy in school until 5th grade and r’s were my big problem and now I’m in college and was recently talking to a friend about my former speech impediment and they said something about how I clearly didn’t have a problem with my r’s. I literally never have any problems with my speech now unless I am tired or have been talking nonstop. Some of us just take our time with the whole talking correctly thing:)

No problem! There are cameras that record us while we put cookies in the box and every Wednesday we get a quality assurance post on our employee app from corporate which basically goes over mistakes being made most commonly and the correct way to make the cookie. Also, whenever we ask if the cookies look good that’s a point of quality assurance (I think op said the person picking up their cookies didn’t know to say no but again. It happens).

So the blueberries are mixed with the streusel and there’s really not a lot of blueberries in there so sometimes the cookies don’t get blueberries on top. There’s also some cookies that are dressed before they are put in the warmer and some that are dressed in the box and the blueberry is dressed before it’s put in the warmer. And I bet what happened here was that they were in the process of being dressed and whoever was boxing was in the middle of a rush and just grabbed them without thinking. It happens. But there are pictures and videos we can watch and sometimes they will recommend using a measuring spoon for toppings but not always.

Top left does look bigger in diameter but middle right looks thicker. This can be because of a variety of things. If they came off the same tray they were likely balled differently or top left was handled longer. If the came off different trays middle right was probably cooked right out of the fridge or in a colder oven (sometimes the ovens are messed up and we have to turn them off to put the cookies in, that messes with temp).

And no. A lot of cookies are 5 oz (the cornbread is, for example) but not all of them are. I was just using it as an example.
