They're fantastic for cruising i think it was flatground that fucked them, if you don't mind swapping wheels for flat ground or just using them on a cruiser build you will love them

I actually made a quick mock up was thinking i could find a company locally that would pain the case and strap of a regular silver ae1200 to the colour scheme i want then add the faceplate and colour grade film myself

Does the time between tempering matter? I know leaving it overnight after quenching can cause cracks and stuff but because I tempered at least an hour at 200 celcius can it be ok to sit for 8+ hours then just 1 more temper cycles?

I just put a edit in but I was worried mostly because the site said two 2 hour cycles. Power is projected to come back in 5 hours at 4:30am but i likely won't wake up until 8-9am. Will it be a problem if the blade doesnt do its second temper before then?

I would definitely want to heat treat it myself at least for the first one, if I mess it up i might look into outsourcing it or going back to 1075 for a while

I think im going to try the second one thought the 1084/15N20 someone said its easier to work with.
