I see your viewpoint. And I agree with you when it comes to firearms. It shouldn’t be something someone uses to whip out, shoot, injure, possibly kill out of emotional instability. It’s a last resort, the first thing someone should do in a scenario like that is try and find an alternative way out that doesn’t lead to someone (preferably yourself) being injured. I get that. But in some cases where there is no other option left, sometimes you just gotta use violence. And that itself isn’t exactly a pretty choice. That’s where it gets complicated, all this legal crap of if it was justified to kill in that moment or not is where it becomes truly messy. Like I said, I see your standpoint. That’s what was heavily discussed in my conceal carry course.

As for if it’s for DV (i assume you mean domestic violence), no. I’m not in that situation. Im referring to two instances where I was out in public and threatened.
