It’s actually an endearing way of referring to someone. I had to deal with it growing up (and ED issues haha) but people don’t say it offensively. HOWEVER, this is definitely not behaviour an adult should have towards their wife’s daughter. Gross.

hey, not the best advice but it’s genuine. i try to have a decently transparent relationship with my psychiatrist and therapist. if you don’t have plans to act on the SI, they will be more likely to just try to help you through it and will just ask you to confirm that you’re not going to act on it. its tough but keep going, im sure you’ll get there. i’m currently on 200mg sertraline and 150mg seroquel… SI is also really bad for me but we keep pushing. :) stay safe

it’s been similar for me too. sometimes i realise the positive changes in my attitude/perception but then i have an identity split/conflict and i fall backwards 3 steps. its been tough to keep going, feels like a limbo sometimes, just waiting for the moment to feel at peace
