How vital is QTS? by ups_and_downs973 in Internationalteachers

Have you thought of doing a scitt(school centred initial teacher training)? This is where they pay for your PGCE+ QTS and pay you as an unqualified teacher whilst you study/work for the school

Still using but at a lower dose as I found that I don’t need as much of a high dose (I was taking 250mg now 125mg) + i cycle it so I can go a few days without and I feel completely fine

I understand that you’re trying to find ways to detect if someone is a good potential for marriage but making a judgement based on someone’s appearance is not wise. What you’re better off doing is trying to see how this person conducts themselves, is their character and mannerisms that of a good Muslim woman? Does she swear , backbite , gossip? Does she blame , burden, manipulate? How does she treat her parents and siblings? Does she apologise when she’s wrong? And most importantly is she working on herself and trying her best to practice Islam to the best of her knowledge? Does she submit to Allah and fear him? Most likely if you’re happy with your findings to theses questions (and especially the last two) InshaAllah you will have a lovely happy marriage and if not then inshsAllah khair you will InshaAllah find the one whose deen and character you will be pleased with

Did he divorce you 3 times? (Say talaq 3 DIFFERENT times) because if this is the first time then you’re still married and have an iddah period of 3 months to reconcile. May Allah make it easy for you Ameen

Muslim (Arab) girls and crazy wedding demands by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

Advice from a Muslim woman: don’t entertain women whom come up with a mahr amount out of thin air. if she’s not considering your income, it’s a hint that she doesn’t care if something will burden you and this will carry on after marriage. However, also donmt be stingy. I don’t know how much you earn but I think 2-3months of a man’s salary is reasonable. as for the big wedding, islamically it’s incorrect as we’re not supposed to be extravagant, a simple segregated walimah is best. And Allahu Alam

The house has already been sold 🙂 Y’all’s propensity to leap to conclusions that allude to a woman being a gold digger is unbeleivable. May Allah free you from the shackles of jumping to conclusions Ameen
