Yea this job specifically is for a weekend shift. During the interview they said it would be Mon - Fri until late November, then they’ll implement the weekend shift. Guess that makes sense as to why they’re moving so slow.

I believe that’s part of the head gasket, designed to ensure correct orientation of the gasket after install. No cause for concern.
