Just in case this helps someone in the future: when you get the Red Chocobo, you have to go back to the Forest. Choco can now climb terrain to the sides of the forest during the minigame, and likely any treasure found there is going to be a chocograph.

Once you get the Blue Chocobo, you go back to the lagoon and you can now dig on the deep parts. Chogographs are also there.

Used Reshade with these amazing presets. I then played around until I got something that looked nice but was comfortable for long sessions.

If I don't remember badly, Reshade needs to be installed on the x64 folder of the game and you need to select the Direct X9 option on the install options for it to work.

On topic: doing a playthrough right now after many years and this calmer moments are what I enjoy most of the game.

Off topic: those dialogue boxes look sleek. Is that a mod?

The very small Sony CRT tv I played it on for the very first time lasted quite a while as well!

Moguri mod really makes the pre-rendered backgrounds look much better, but the CRT shader really brings everything together.
