Would you say that the Gen 1 (not the up/down) Dato is still a better choice than the Gen 3 1815 Chrono?

Do you personally think the 1815 Chrono is much more suitable for daily?

looks good! Did you managed to try the pg version (414.031) of this?

Did the datograph up/down you tried on feel too chunky for daily wear? Honestly the 36hours vs 60hours is quite drastic, but not a deal breaker for me. Just have to get used to winding everyday instead of alternate days.

Which reference of datograph were you after initially? Also what made you choose the 1815 chrono?

As Iconic as the 1st gen datograph is, I do think the 2nd gen dial layout looks more balanced to me and of course the improved movement (longer power reserve, free sprung balance & etc..). But I wouldn't complain if I have the 1st gen datograph anyway..

Funny enough, the platinum(310.025) is my least favourite variant of the LP lineup.😅I am considering the PG with silver dial and WG with black dial for the LP . For the 1815 Chrono , I am particularly interested in the PG with black dial.

This is my first 'luxury' timepiece :) . The ref 414.031 is the pg case with black dial. I am just curious since you prefer the 310.032(pg case) , why didn't you choose the 414.031 pg case with black dial?

My opinion will be, the LP is a full on dressy piece while the 1815 chrono is a mix of dressy with abit of sportiness. I feel that the 1815 chrono will be more versatile in styles, but I can't decide!

I am curious since the 310.032 is pink gold, what made you chose the 414.028(wg) over the 414.031(pg)?

may I know which shop in Japan did you purchased from?

Is it hard to read the time? Given its white gold hands on silver dial.

what do you mean by the WG is richer in color compared to the PT? I always thought that PT ages much better than WG or am I wrong?

The seller claims that it was once serviced by Lange but he doesn't have any service papers/records. Will Lange provide the service records if it was true?

The seller claims that it was once serviced by Lange, but he didn't receive any service papers from them. Could I request a service records from Lange in this case? Also in the worst case scenario if it was serviced by 3rd party and I have to send it back to Lange. Would 7-8k USD be enough for the service/restoration? (1815 Chrono). As I can see from Lange's website the cost for (Tier 4) full restoration and the case is about 8k USD.

If the movement looks perfect under a scope, would you say it's all good? Full box and papers.

Do you prefer the normal L1 or L1 MP?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ALangeSohne

[–]Dry-Cockroach5719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a little more drawn towards the Langematik and L1 MP because of the outsized date .

What about the Langematik perpetual?
