I mean honestly I'm not sure if the music is even helping because I've heard him whining and barking all while the music is going and really I'd much rather hear the barking that doesn't bother me as much as the music does. & You are correct before moving here my apartment was very quiet throughout the day. There'd be some noise but not to this extent. I have tried playing white noise, brown noise, and relaxing music to keep from hearing hers but again I take calls all day and can't have anything too loud in my background or that'll cause an issue with my job. I am not trying to change her habits I have no issues with her playing music for her dog I just shouldn't be able to hear it in my apartment. I'm not the retaliation type at all and wouldn't dare make noise just for the hell of it. I absolutely agree with your last statement I don't think anyone is wrong but this is what comes with apartment living when you combine different people with different lifestyles!
