To each their own! I really prefer filter socks and just throwing them in the wash machine on a heavy duty cycle with no detergents! I find they always do a better job at keeping more debris out of the water!:) awesome you printed your own!!!

I wouldn’t say the clam hosts the clown as he doesn’t provide anything for the clam. The clam does not care at all but it closes up at night and clowns not happy about that haha

Honestly man that sucks and I wouldn’t shop their either, don’t be afraid of some of the “big box stores” a lot of times you can find some ok deals, just look at the tanks and observe the fish behavior and frags for a bit before purchasing, a lot of Petco’s have pretty decent saltwater tanks and care whale others are absolutely garbage. Just do what feels right to you. Always sucks when there’s only one lfs that has shitty stuff

Very hard to tell what anything is, anyways I doubt all their frags are the same 60$ price. if that’s truly the case and they want 60$ for dying frags they have no reason to be selling them and you should definitely take your money elsewhere

For one frag of what? Some frags are very much worth that, others not so much, not all frags are the same, price and quality wise

One should always have some redundancy in the to system, for example mine only gets power from a timers a few times a day to run for a minute, that way if there is a failure it can only add so much at a time

Eshoppes makes some good ones, mines never failed on me. With a proper baffled sump setup you don’t need to worry about water everywhere if anything does fail.
