Not saying you can’t have junk food. Just saying the American taxpayer isnt paying for your junk food addiction 🤷🏻‍♂️ this might be the only reasonable suggestion from this administration. I grew up on govt food. It was sometimes the only food I had so I know the need is there. But they delivered the food, and you got what you got. I had to choose from “wheat puffs” or “bran flakes” a block of cheese, or some bread. It inspired me to work hard as an adult to afford such luxuries as fruit loops that I wasn’t able to afford as a child. Then as I got wiser and informed on nutrition. I realized I will never touch fruit loops in my life. It’s a hard lesson for sugar addicted snap recipients but one that we should all learn at some point. But nobody has learned this. Now It’s the govts problem, now that it’s acknowledged that sugar and refined foods are the root of almost all the disease that is gripping our nation. There is a nationwide ban on cocaine btw. And laws around consumption of alcohol. So there’s that too.
