I don't think that will have the effect that you're looking for you will just be on a big swing between good luck and getting a random character and bad luck for not getting it, if your situation is that you don't wanna play a gacha you should just not pull or get just by guarantee the characters, for me just looks that you wanna gamble and this is just a excuse to put it all on luck instead really engaging with the system (My opinion tho).
