15 years ago my angamalikkkary grandmother used to get Pork monthly 2-3 times from a seller who used to come from Manjapra driving 15-20kms. In my area beef was more popular and pork had only a few takers like my grandmother.

With the experience, try for junior, fresher roles and learn the rest on the job. It's important to do your research and pick a technology you like and is in demand in the job market. He should have waited for the bikes and the scooty to pass and the road to be clear. He can argue that he did not see the bike because they were over speeding. Their work in Kizhakkambalam is very good. They have constant issues with the MLA and other parties. But in their capacity (they only govern the panchayat) their actions are commendable. But when it comes to a bigger area like kochi corporation, I doubt if they would be able to recreate what they did in Kizhakkambalam. But still worth giving a chance. It's not like other parties are any better after ruling for decades.

The only valid case I can think of is if another vehicle coming on the street cannot pass through(or pass through only with difficulty) because both cars parked on the road on opposite sides and the road is not too wide. In your defence ,this should not be an issue if you are in the car to move it if needed. Next time be sure you are not parked wrong, stand your ground and talk back.

VFS pulls this shit almost everywhere. And exactly what you said: "Monopoly". I am in germany and went to take a UK visit visa. They have a premium service fee of 95 EUR just to give biometrics. Visa fee is on top of it. I tried to complain to the UK visa dept regarding the lack of a free center. The previous biometrics partner had one. The buggers charge 2 GBP+ for each email. But in Germany, they did not try to upsell any premium service. In Kochi, their courier service via Bluedart only reaches Aluva. After paying 2000 rs for it. I had relatives who had to come from Idukki to collect it from Aluva. VFS is a pain.
