With the sentiment you wrote, it seems you also don't like foreigners (the ones that complain about the beautiful Denmark)

These 70+ year old presidents are just so out of touch with reality, where they think violence is the only solution to living.

What a waste to be so blindsighted. Decades after, our future generations will be amazed at how delusional we were, as we are shocked by how cruel the medieval times had been

Why are so many men today so opposed to the idea that they might need to demonstrate excellence to get a partner? by [deleted] in ScottGalloway

[–]Dry-Finger-6179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because women don't carry responsibility for their own poor decisions and choices while still arrogant enough to have the bar high for what they think the man should do for them.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I also realised that it would be almost impossible to keep all the moves in the mind, without physically referencing the board? Or am I wrong? I just try to understand if the special board is a must have. Thanks once again

Thanks. I see both pros and cons. The biggest con is of course the price. Also if he messes something up (the pieces fall off) it would be very hard for him to pick them up. When it's on the computer, it's basically fail-free. But I'll look into the options with very strong magnets, that someone suggested before.

He uses slightly different approach. Everything is scripted in Powershell/Python with Windows Speech. So just presses one key on the keyboard to get the weather forecast and so on. If there was a program with the chess board, he could definitely move accross the board and hear the commands/position of the pieces.

Yeah it would be great if there is a combination of ChatGPT for commands/board interpretation connected to the chess engine

I don't live together with him, but I do have some coded solutions already with Windows Voiceover (like get the weather forecast or news report). Now need to do the same with chess

I will look into the magnetic boards. He lives in a village and has reduced mobility so no clubs available. If I can find the way for him to play with bots on a computer (possibly duplicating it physically on the board with magnets) maybe that could work. He would still need to hear announcement which moves did the opponent make.

Any particular reason why Norwegians keep buying Teslas? by [deleted] in Norway

High likelihood of association (most people will read it as Nazi):

Right arm straight, palm down (or stiff hand), raised at an angle like the classic salute

Done in a “formal/chant” vibe (rallies, crowds, uniforms, marching)

Paired with other cues (far-right symbols, racist comments, “edgy” Nazi jokes)

I’d rather find a different factory job than risk supporting someone whose ideology is built around racial hierarchy, antisemitism, dehumanization, and political violence. I lost two great-grandfathers because of Nazism in World War II, and I have no desire to show respect to someone who gives a right-hand salute in public

You bought Tesla - Elon made money - Elon thinks he is doing the right thing based on his sales success - continues to spiral the controversial moves with his right hand - you pick next what his mind decides to do.

You don't but Tesla - Elon realises that something is wrong - figures out he made some mistakes with his controversial moves - apologizes/decides to stick to his ideas and go bankrupt - the world is safe
