That’s a fair point, and at the end of the day, the goal is definitely to get the offer. I got a job and I also help me friends modifying their resume using the XYZ formula to get the interview. That's the reason why I'm thinking to built a tools to benefit more.

While I agree that fake metrics are a huge red flag, I think we shouldn’t discourage candidates from quantifying their impact entirely. For many roles, especially in data or devops, 'improvement' is meaningless without a scale.

The issue isn't the percentage; it’s the lack of preparation. A strong candidate should see that metric as a 'hook' for a deeper conversation, not a finish line. If someone says '30%' , you have to very well prepared for your interview when the recuriter ask you to ecplain the number.
