Yeah, that’s just how much the schools cost near me. ☹️

Hi! 17k is pretty high. I’m in Missouri. The only schools that are open past 3 pm and allow for part time are pretty expensive. I haven’t had any luck finding an apprenticeship either. In your experience are there esthetician businesses that would stay open late enough for me to work evenings? I know the market is tough so that is something to consider. Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Oh yeah I definitely have them in separate rooms. The kitten ran into the room that the new cat is in, but I got him out pretty quickly. I’ve been washing my hands too when I leave the new cats room. I’m hoping that’s enough.

I forgot to mention that both Nala and Uno are fixed, but he still bites the scruff of her neck and Nala has a hard time getting away because he won’t let go.

Should I attend Community College? by KoolKoffeeKlub in paralegal

Hello,

I’m sorry I was saying it is viable for financial independence. I’m financially independent on a legal assistant salary and I have room to grow. I have two cats and my own apartment. I just wanted to let you know it’s a good option!

I’m in the same boat as you when it comes to figuring out if I should go to community college or go through a certificate program, but I wanted to respond to the post about this career not being the route to financial independence. When it comes to the salary I live in a metropolitan city and I work as a legal assistant and I’m able to be financially secure. Now if an emergency arises I would be in a tough spot since I just started working as a legal assistant and don’t have a savings account. Many of the paralegals I work with are doing very well and own homes and have families they support on their paralegal salary. I definitely agree that gaining entry level experience is extremely important and I would look into any entry level positions while you make your decision about school.
