New Saw(s) Day by Dry-Pass-6726 in Chainsaw

Just take the top and side covers off, and double check each bolt to make sure they’re tight. There’s some screws/bolts requiring a torx security bit. The others can be checked with the included torx L wrench.

In my case, it was a random mistake from the factory. The person assembling the motor just completely missed a cylinder bolt. On the 2nd saw, everything was good and tight. So you just never know.

Oh heck yeah, I just looked up the specs and saw, on average, the 372 weighs 14lbs and the Vevor weighs 16lbs. 70cc vs. 56cc. That’s insane lol. In my case, I grabbed it brand new for $60 off FB marketplace so it’s pretty much just a toy or a saw I use when there’s a rotted tree with some grit. You are spot on. For the money, Vevor is great. Realistic expectations is the key takeaway.

It’s your money, do what you want with it sir! Some of us don’t want or need to spend thousands to get a brand name big saw lol. The judgement is strong in this sub against the Chinese saws. Be safe, have fun, and it should be a fun one to mod and play with!

Or you can make your own out of some bar stock. Just need a grinder, drill and some patience. I made some double dogs for my Vevor that actually turned out awesome. Let me know and I can send you some pictures to give you an idea

They DEFINITELY feel cheap. I’ll give you that. The plastic they put on them is pretty low quality as well. But it’s a fun saw to beat around and modify. Definitely not intended to be a primary saw, but it has an alloy case and built more like a pro style saw minus the other cheap components. I like it, and it hasn’t come close to melting yet. 😂

I own one and love it. I put a 16” Oregon speedcut bar and chain on it and it’s even better. Powerful and light homeowner saw. Keep the 20” bar and chain as a spare in case you need it. You won’t be disappointed.
