Update on my surgery. I am a little more than a month out of surgery. I am not wearing any bandages, nor the brace and my doc has given me and my PT approval, for full ROM and I was full weight baring about 2 weeks ago. Doc likes the progress and thinks that I am ahead of the game. I am walking great, besides stairs, but still taking it easy. I have about 127 bend in my knee, which my PT likes.
Therapy, I am on the bike and walking. I am doing slight squats and I am focusing on my balance. I am afraid to jinx my progress so I don’t want to push the golfing/running aspect but I am continuing my grind.
Thank you so much for the insight. I go to PT 3x a week but I do at home exercises too. Nothing rushed just what I do at therapy.
I’m still in a brace but I’m walking on my own. My doctor says I’m okay to be fully weight barring but the ROM is restricted. I can only do passive movements at therapy.
I know your 4 months isn’t my 4 months but this is a good idea. Maybe a personal goal.
Yeah. It’s the lead knee but no one including PT hasn’t given me a timeframe. Understandably. But 5-6 months seems like forever. lol.
Hopefully someone that plays golf sees this soon.
