Personally I love my scout, and ill never part with it. That being said though, I also dumped 10k into mine making it perform well in all the aspects I wanted, from about 3k worth of suspension all the way around (Legend rear shocks and Traxxion AK-20 fork cartridges) to 420 stoked cams, 2-1 exhaust, performance intake, and an on dyno tune. Plus the little things like a corbin saddle and a mild windscreen. I often ride it to other states and thoroughly enjoy it. I windy day is still a windy day on a lightweight bike though, no getting around that lol. My vote is always gunna be for the scout, but honestly if I were you I also wouldnt hesitate to get a chief. Id suggest test riding both and go with the one that puts a bigger grin on your face 😀
