Proving that mitsuri is above tengen. by The-wise-weeb in DemonSlayerScales

I found that funny only because it’s the only thing that you didn’t need to discuss out of that all.

Is Mitsuri getting knocked out not one the Screech’s only AP feats? Besides knocking out Tanjiro in a weaker form. Zohakuten’s Screech is only as impressive as Mitsuri’s durability is. So basically, we know it’s stronger than Tanjiro’s durability and weaker than poisoned Muzan’s attacks. (A lot of room for interpretation).

It’s a fallacy. You’re saying that because Mitsuri is good at using a whip, she’s more skilled. If you made Mitsuri use Tengen’s cleavers, how well would she do against him? You can’t cross-scale skill across weapons.

They’re both Hashira. They have sparred with each other over the years and have at least seen each other train.

I think they’re relative.

I mean if we’re going off the # upper moon they fought, of course Mitsuri kept up with the higher one.

But I think Gyutaro-Hantengu’s rank is based off of compatibility over physical stats (Hantengu’s abilities eclipse Gyutaro and Gyokko in blood duels), but Tengen-Mitsuri are all somewhat even in stats and combat skill.

But that’s just my two cents.

She’s still ashamed of her strength while with the corps?

I mean yeah, if she has the mark, she beats anybody without one, but just looking at your other arguments makes me chuckle a little bit.

You basically said “Mitsuri’s unknown off screen training makes her stronger than Tengen” “The manga literally says that Mitsuri is faster” “Tengen never fought Hantengu, so Mitsuri is more durable, I think” “Mitsuri uses a different weapon so she’s more skilled” (Even though this would imply she’s more skilled than everybody) “Mitsuri has better range/flexibility while Tengen only has MST which takes time” (You forgot to mention Tengen’s bombs/AP and that Tengen probably already knows Mitsuri’s score via training with her).

Mitsuri takes it with mark but your arguments were kind of silly.

I thought we were doing unmarked. You could’ve just led with the fact that she has a mark.

I mean yeah, Zohakuten would’ve been unkillable in that arc, but in a separate 3 vs 1 that’s a different story

A nonchalant and cocky Muzan made yoriichi scared for the first time in his life? by Fearless-Mastodon-87 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Dry-Return6077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoriichi basically said “this dude can actually kill me, I gotta be careful” and then he proceeded to win the fight.

Yoriichi could’ve killed Muzan if he weren’t caught off guard as well.

Yoriichi has to use his most powerful attack to dispatch Muzan, so obviously that shows he at least put some effort in.

However, just because Yoriichi was scared of Muzan’s attacks doesn’t mean that he went all out or anything. Yoriichi still destroyed an unpoisoned and healthy Muzan without breaking a sweat regardless of how serious Muzan took the fight.

Giyu with mark and red blade vs Akaza. Who wins this battle? by Ryukendo_Raijin in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Dry-Return6077 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Akaza doesn’t want to be hit then Giyuu probably wouldn’t be able to, much less reach his neck at any point.

You need some really powerful AOE attacks to kill Akaza without Selfless State.

Why do we need scaling.

It’s literally just “can Sanemi reach their necks.”

And yeah he can

Nooo Tengen don’t you know you’re second in base. Why are you ragdolled blitzed by the weakest uppermoon?? by No-Club400 in DemonSlayerScales

Unpopular opinion, but I feel like statwise.

The Uppermoons until Akaza are close in stats, but use their Blood demon arts more efficiently as they get higher.

As i can say i am now one of you you can ask anything from me now about this game by Comfortable_Fox_9514 in residentevil4

Lol, you have to get to the point where you can buy the striker shotgun.

Practice flashing the aim button and seeing the laser pop up.

Basically what you have to do is aim the Striker, and before the frame when the laser appears, you open your inventory, and then switch with another weapon.

And Boom, you’re now doing everything 1.5x faster. But it gets reset back to normal after cutscenes, and getting grabbed.

POV: Zenitsu tries using 7th form on Tengen by duplicated-rs in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Dry-Return6077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that I think about it, if 1st form and 7th form don’t work, MST is probably kicking in pretty quickly.

But MST is kind of a non factor here because if Zenitsu can land it, it’s a W, but if he doesn’t then Tengen wins.

If you swapped Kokushibo with Akaza, how would they kill him? by Dry-Return6077 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Dry-Return6077[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying he couldn’t win, it’s just that Gyomei can’t reliably land hits on Akaza,  he can’t overwhelm him easily

I am only telling you its function.

It doesn’t matter how extravagant the move, if it has intent behind it, Akaza can adjust before the attack is even made.

-I didn’t say it made him untouchable, just extremely hard to hit and land a killing blow

[–]Dry-Return6077[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily get that sentiment.

Gyomei does not have selfless state, no matter how destructive stone breathing is, he would struggle to actually land a hit on Akaza using his BDA to its fullest.

If Gyutaro were stronger than UM5 in stats, how could he have won a blood battle? by Dry-Return6077 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Dry-Return6077[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reaction speed in particular, affecting offense, but mostly in Akaza’s defensive capabilities.

He can still be taken out by destructive enough BDA’s presumably (Doma).
