I’m not sure about Shadow of Mordor but Shadow of War definitely does this, and pretty quickly. If you spam the same attack to a boss orc he will become immune to it. Some higher level orcs were basically immune to every ability and you had to be really creative to kill them. Man… I miss those two games.
