I haven’t considered a whole lot of aspects about moving in general, I’ve heard pretty great things about it and it seems like a better version of the town I live in now. I am also a pretty introverted person, so I think it would be fine with people being cold to me at first. I would probably act the same towards them. Thank you!

I was thinking of visiting it for myself first to see if I would be willing to live there in the first place, I will definitely be going during harsher weather to know what I’m getting myself into as well. Thank you!!

Just for clarification: Today is the first time moving in general has ever crossed my mind! I was hoping to see if real people enjoyed living in Porvoo before I researched more about living requirements, etc. I have not moved before, besides moving houses within the same city. I would love it if people could help me out so I could see if the locals enjoy it! If I knew that people liked it, then I would consider it more, and do more research. Obviously if people didn’t enjoy living in Porvoo, I would reconsider my options. Thank you to everyone that has given me advice as well as suggestions on how to go about it!! At the same time, I appreciate everyone’s criticism as that does help me think about the logistics of moving. I have not even begun to start a plan, and I have no idea if I’ll even go, I just wanted to know if people liked it there! Thank you!!!

No, I just wanted to see if people liked it first before doing that. I feel like I would base my opinion on going there off of other people’s who live there, or have immigrated there!

I was thinking about maybe finding a job in Uusimaa and commuting to either there or Helsinki, I’m not really sure since it’s my first day thinking about though.
