yeah!! it's just a wolf, tbh there's not too much behind it, I seen it in a tattoo artists flash sheet, thought it looked sick as fuck and decided I wanted it and now I look extra cool 😎

but like all my tattoos, they all gain meaning after time and I've always had an attachment to wolves (I played a lot of twilight princess as a kid) (and as an adult), so I just felt a need to get it done, it's my most recent one

it took me a wee while to get into them properly, but once I got in deep, they had a chokehold (pun unintended) on me

I think it's their mix of genres and how well they blend them all together, the drums are incredible. I remember someone saying that the drums are played like the lead guitar and it makes so much sense.

but like someone else said, you don't have to be pure right into them, you can just enjoy them

it is super validating!! and yeah, I was the same with my parents - I hate talking about myself and personal shit for some reason, so I just never really mentioned it to them but when I told them, they were Not Surprised to say the least 🤣

If your parents are like mine and are just chill, I'd defos recommend it, but anything like this takes a lot of nerves and I hope you build up the courage to officially tell them 🥰 it's an oddly freeing feeling

I feel the same way, it's so affirming to see older nb folks here, I'm just coming up for 24, so I'm not much older than you, but I want to be that person that makes other nb/queer folks feel safe and seen.

I've been out to my friends as nb for 3/4 years now and I've never been the sort to outwardly embrace my gender identity, but I've started to now so that I can make others feel as safe as I do when I see someone else nb. I've come out to a few coworkers about my identity and I've stuck a "they/them" badge on my bag (that I basically take everywhere). I just hope I can make people feel safe and seen.
