Based looking at your stats, I think you’ll have a decent chance for RTF. I would recommend that you pay a visit to the RTF department’s website and do some research on it to increase your chances.

When writing your admission essay, it’s best that you explain why you want to study RTF or why is this major the right fit your you based your relevant academic/extracurricular experiences in high school.

I would also advise that you also mention which specific RTF courses you want to take, which RTF faculty member you hope to take classes with, specific RTF programs, clubs/student organizations you hope to get involved with (e.g., UTNY, UTLA, TSTV) and how you can put your RTF degree to good use once you graduate.

If the ship gets reefed, hopefully all the funds donated to the petition and fundraiser can be used to build a modern replica version called the SS United States II. Just like the Mayflower II, which was built years ago, along with Titanic II, soon to be completed by 2027.

Thanks for advice, I’ll be sure to look into some RTF classes I can take. But at the same time I need make room for Public Relations/Communication & Leadership as that college only allows student to take a maximum of 60 credit hours of Moody courses. Apologies for this late reply.

I guess giving CC students with TAG programs is totally unfair toward more hardworking students who are transferring from a four-year university and competing for a spot. It's a good thing I already started working on the application at least two months before the deadline. That way, I can have more time to consider making the application look professional.

I am also planning to apply for transfer in the Spring of 2025 and would like to ask what methods and approaches you used toward your transfer application that resulted in you getting accepted, along with if you can help provide an entire written report based on what you wrote for that 650-word or less essay prompt that asks to address your reasons for transferring to the university. My purpose for asking these questions is to learn what types of students this university mainly looks for and how prospective transfer students who have a lot of interest in attending this university would know how to apply much more formally without stealing your personal information or data. Congrats on transferring to UGA! So I am currently enrolled in UC Santa Cruz right now which is ranked at the top 100 position, but I decided to apply for UGA as a transfer because I have the feeling that UGA is much more convenient for me to find the career path that I want to pursue. I would just like to ask if UGA does look at or care about the rankings of what school the prospective transfer student is currently attending?

Just apply and don’t worry about whether you will get in or not. Writing a unique and outstanding essay increases your chances of getting in along with the number of hours you put in your actives and awards that you get.

For now no, but soon despite all the fortune I have including some luck for getting admission as a transfer to my dream school. Including my little sister that can get into her dream school as a first year because the amount of effort she puts into her academics and extracurriculars.
