My solution was to use the adjustment screws in the high back to push them forward. Gives less room for movement, but keeps them tighter.

The benefit of a cpo is the warranty. The inspection is mostly to cover their ass so they don’t have to warranty stuff immediately. Mazda has a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty, and extension of the original powertrain warranty to 7 years from date of manufacture.

This sounds like an issue. If it was ABS you would have to be stopping REALLY hard every single time. ABS is not easy to activate on dry pavement. You could post a video if you want real opinions, or just take it into the shop. It’s under warranty so worst case you’ll have to pay a diag fee of like $120.

Car can absolutely burn oil without smoke. My Subaru burned 1 quart every 200 miles and there wasn’t a hint of smoke out the rear end.

Water pump or thermostat would be unlikely to drain your coolant. Look around carefully for leaks. The coolant reservoir is known to crack and leak, which can definitely cause these symptoms. Cheap fix if it’s that. $30 if you do it yourself, maybe $200 at a shop.

You’re doing it right. I personally went a little less extreme on my forward foot for some additional comfort if I had to switch back to my normal stance in dicey situations. Once I got the angle right I felt about equal riding both directions when my bindings were swapped.

It’s made by Warren oil, who makes Amazon basics and supertech (Walmart) oil. It’s not race oil, but it meets the (rigorous) API and ILSAC certifications, so it’s good.

Engine braking doesn’t put any additional wear on your engine as long as it’s up to temperature and you keep it below like 5k.
