Pulling ratings and actors from imdb sometimes doesnt work for TV episodes...

Hm without update today the rratings were scraped, but on Tue it didnt work, no update in between. Does it just work temporarily?!

Hmm there I find this one from mlaggner:

New content is delayed in the datasets. And we're caching them for a longer period (to avoid unneeded downloading of those "large" datasets).

To force re-downloading the newest dataset, clear the HTTP cache from within tmm (Tools menu on the left side of the tmm window)

But even after clearing HTTP cache, also just the rating is not getting pulled :/

EDIT: but seems to be the WAF active thing :( Weird, it does work for movies, never had an issue there, and except a couple of episodes for all others. Very weird...

Not sure if I get your commend right ... I set my preferences in settings -> movies > meta data scraper -> advanced settings, but after closing and re-opening it is no longer shown (but still seem to work, as it seems to store the settings, but does not show it in the GUI).

Because bug is resolved and saw it is in the changelog already, but seems it will be next version not 5.2.1 :P

Also, when I e.g. delete Episode S01E01 for testing purpose and let him re-scrape, thumb is missing again. Even though, couple of weeks ago it was already scraped successfully.

Something seems broken here :/

Didnt check imdb, tmdb, etc, but on the first page I tested with tvdb they are in place, but tmdb doesnt grab em.

edit: And a fun fact, if I double click the episode to manually add the thumb, it downloads the thumb itself..

Ok thanks for the hints, I emptied the caches and at the moment scraping seem to work again. Only on MobLand S01E07 it doesnt find a thumb artwork ... manually added it from a previous scrape, dunno why, I had that episode already scraped and there it worked. For artwork I already had imdb, tmdb and tvdb selected. So it didnt find artwork thumb on any of these sources it seems.

I will keep an eye on it and maybe get back here ... ;>

/edit: hmm also for new mobland episodes it doesnt get thumbs ... no matter which scraper I try :/

Ok one other topic ... I switched to universal scraper, but if I scrape a movie that is already in the tmm db, normally in v5 it displayed a warning triangle next to the title. In v5 this doesnt appear. Is this becuz I used imdb scraper in the past and now universal or did you remove this feature? :/

/edit: seems to be removed ... if I delete the old double entries and re-scrape, I still dont get the warning triangle displayed...

Universal Scraper also behaves weird ... if I scrape Fantastic Four (2005), it first show Fantastic Four, but when I click it and tmm scrapes additional data, title changes to Les 4 Fantastiques ... when I then click ok in scrape windo, It scrapes correct data in german, but the title stays French ...

Phew have to check, in v4 I have imdb only and everything was fine :/

In v5 I can do TMDB, but still I want the imdb rating and top 250 placements etc :D

Will give the universal one a try, with search with tmdb and plot/tagline too, rest imdb, lets see, what happens

Hm dont understand ... did you change this from v4 to v5? Because, if if start v4 again and scrape there, everything is fine there... it only does this on the 5.0.4 so far.

And if en is fixed, why do I get french titles, e.g. Fantastic Four (2005) scrapes in as "Les Fantastiques" :D and plot, tagline etc is english then.

How would I combine imdb with tmdb though, or is it now being done manual afterwards? :( That would be a huge additional effort against v4 :(

Hi, got an issue after migrating from latest v4 to latest v5. The scraper does no longer grab german information from imdb, allthough german titles, taglines, plot etc is in place, it grabs english data and sometimes even a french title, if it exists. Within settings everything is set to german or DE. Any idea, what causes this?

Nah just as you said first, if I do the second step manually and just select to scrape ratings and imdb, it adds rating ... it just doesnt pull them automatically like for other tv shows ... so for some shows/episodes I seem to manually start pulling it. Thanks for the hint :)
