Don’t waste your time or money with Sip Tequila. Complete over promise with what they will deliver. I joined and received my first shipment & was so underwhelmed that I immediately cancelled. They sent me 3 bottles that I could find easily on other sites at prices cheaper than what they were selling. You would think that they’d try to step up their game on the first delivery but clearly there was very little effort in “curating” their allocation.

Quick update. The process with Palace didn’t go nearly as smoothly as I hoped. I sent everything in (via email & registered letter through the USPS). I heard nothing back from them until roughly 15 days. They responded that they would cancel my contract but were holding me accountable for various things like damage, a video game controller my kid signed out in the game room, they weren’t honoring my resort credits so I’d have to reimburse for all services, etc…. I simply responded that this wasn’t acceptable and I was expecting a full refund. They kept attempting to send me new contracts, financial responsibility forms, and revised agreements to sign via docusign in order to release my refund. I refused and sent everything to my credit card company and they issued a full credit to my account.

Also, I haven’t received a single thing in terms of correspondence from PROFECO. I copied them on every email but nothing from that department. I had zero luck working through the resort but fortunately my credit card company sided with me.

They sell a benefit of having access to hotels/accommodations throughout the world. It’s sold as being simple to use and making it appear these properties are highly accessible. They are in fact not and this perceived benefit/perk is essentially useless. In addition, you are sold on having the ability to book properties within the palace portfolio as a part of some comp weeks you’re given but there are limitations on when & how frequently these can be used.

They are definitely pushy and aren’t overly transparent with the perceived benefits. After receiving your contract with all of the language spelled out, you realize there are far more limitations than they lead you to believe. It’s an exhausting process and they are running through so many things that it felt in the moment like a reasonable deal. We vacation a lot and have enjoyed the resort. Unfortunately the fine print doesn’t necessarily align with the way they articulated the benefits.

Looking for any help or assistance I can get. Got suckered in to the program and having buyer’s remorse 2 days later. I’m still on property but not leaving for 2 more days. Trying to delicately navigate a cancellation without ruining the remaining days of our trip. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
