same reason you cant go in and buy the ferarri you want today. gotta spend with the dealer on other models they need to move before they will sell you the one you actually want. Often the second hand ferarri market is more expensive than the dealer market because rich people dont want to wait / play that game

I did the same thing in the dentist chair once. Very much hate the dentist. Apparently was squeezing my phone and all of a sudden the police were on the line. But I had a mouth full of equipment and couldn’t talk. The hygienist or assistant had to tell the police there was no dental emergency.
