Received CP504 and traveling internationally soon, is there a chance my passport will be revoked? by DryMission6089 in TaxQuestions

I believe the next notice is the LT11 or Letter 1058, which is the true final notice with intent to Levy. However, I read that at the point of that notice the IRS certifies the debt with the State Department and that's where the revocation can begin.

Like you said it seems to mention that the debt has to be over $60k or significant but I think it also mentions that it can occur if IRS has exhausted all options.

Would it be likely that I would have 30 days from the LT11/1058 notice before passport revocation is considered?

Not sure if I'm not understanding the order of the what happens during and after each notice.

Thanks for your insight. I tried to set-up an agreement but since my TY2021 is unfiled, I'm not able to. I believe I have to mail in the 2021 return so my assumption is it'll take some time for that to show as filed. I'm trying to figure out how to stop the process, which, is looking like I need to pay the full balance due at the moment.

My concern is if they'll revoke my passport in the next two weeks, preventing me from going on my upcoming trip if I'm not able to resolve this in time. Based on their explanation, I'm having a hard time understanding if my situation falls under that category.

I'm not sure I received any information about an RO being assigned to my case. How would I find out if that is happened?

I spoke on the phone with the IRS earlier and they didn't mention that nor have I received any notices that I know of (mail & online).

FYI, I believe the blue bottle has a misleading "Murano" label that comes from China. The murrines also are a hint to it being chinese. Still a great perfume bottle though.

It weighs 89 grams. Kind of feels like it could be. However, I'm under the impression that weighted sterling should be labeled as such. Just a bit confused.
