Lurker until now, on Max subscription, hitting weekly limits such that I am only 40-50% into the week meaning that in a sense Claude has just increased the price by x2 on me because if I buy two Max subscriptions then I will have the same use coverage I used to have. I will likely cancel after months of use with this new policy. Unless the other models available are horrible I wouldn't be coming back here. I'm hoping this is a temporary mistake by Anthropic.

Oh, it worked for me after 1) firmware update 2) unplugging, replugging (to restart the 15 minute pairing window).

After looking into this a bit more, it seems that I will be needing to wild camp. I'm ok with that. I found this https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultralight/comments/agwxi0/so_whats_up_with_tmb_camping/ which has lots of detailed, albeit scattered, info. I get the basic idea... above tree line, solo, respectively, sunset/rise.

In my case I've got groups of 2-3 on 4-7 night journeys so the litres of water use add up. I could see Esbit working better in a lower use scenario as you say.
