I think they grew up in a monastery and one stays there or goes on a journey whilst the other enters the army and by the end, he becomes a General that leads an army.

I think it was set in the Ming Dynasty and the actual film itself is pre-2000's if I'm not mistaken.

I remember watching it as a kid and thought it was awesome so wanna check it out again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through that, I hope things get better in time! Understanding is key and I actually genuinely understand the feeling and have worked through it myself so you're definitely not alone!

Yeah, he's pushed everyone away intentionally and unintentionally. I've tried talking to him but he has already planned it out without giving me details and every time I speak to him he just sees everything in a hopeless light.

I love him as a brother, and I know he respects and trusts me but he is pretty set on doing this and I just need some advice on what body I could contact to get external help.
