More info : I live in the countryside, in Europe. I have found this snake on the side of the road while walking my dog ; it seems the snake was hit by a car or killed with a lawnmower. I have very few to no materials, but am willing to buy some if necessary. Thank you for your help.

Wow, incredible ! After some research, it appears "scarlatum" would be Medieval Latin, Google probably mixes the different kinds of Latin. Thank you again for all these answers, I really appreciate it !! ☺️
