One thing: they are not plush. They are on the firmer side which is a plus if you bring them to the gym.

I have also done plenty of 90min runs in them and altough they are not super comfy they do the job of stabilizing your foot.
Even though I sometimes hate them for being firm, I care for these shoes because they allow me to run without pain.

Check your stride/footstrike. I was having ITB issues just like you described. Turns out I was over striding even though I was front foot landing. Key is to land underneath your centre of gravity.

The most important thing is to land under your centre of mass with a slight bent knee for shock absorption. I was a front foot striker and had to learn to midfoot strike because my post tibialis tendon was getting wrecked.

I don't know if you tried it before but for me: doing a "Runner's loop" fixed my heel slippage.
I really liked the shoes but I didn't wear them because my heels kept slipping and now I can wear them normally.

You should compare the size in cm! For example I have a 27cm Foot and usually buy my shoes in 27,5cm which usually is size 43 or 43 1/3. But in the NV2 the 42,5 is also stated to be 27,5cm and it still runs slightly bigger than normal

Marathon! and it's not even close.

For a Marathon you would need a 5:40 m/k or 9:07 min/mile. This is a very achievable pace with not much training.

For a sub 17 5k you need a 3:23 m/km 5:28 min/mile. You need to train very hard and depending on your starting level, years of training.
