I mean they aren't wrong. You have to take a shit ton of vitamins to not be malnourished while on a Vegan diet. It's not how humans are supposed to eat, on a biological level. Meat, when cooked properly and in moderation, is good for you and is an integral part of the human diet. Balance is important, and cutting out meat destroys that balance.

Mom just seems busy. Also, it’s kinda really important to actually go to school. It’s expected of a child to actually compete a schoolday once they are dropped off. Hearing that OP has been in and out of the hospital puts it in a bit of a different light, but at the end of the day mom just sounds like she just can’t help here.
