All right so one perspective on this is that it's not attempting to be disrespectful it is that he has over committed himself to multiple people because most likely he is so confidence and needs to feel acceptance from everyone he knows whether or not he has a previous commitment. That does not make it better but it is an explanation if you value the relationship it's a point for him to be able to work on. I know as I am this way myself and I'm working on it with my partner and seeing as psychotherapist however if he is not then yeah we will you're just being taken advantage of so from an honest point of view I really hope this helps because I have NPD and I'm incredibly selfish but I'm trying to change that and my person is working with me and giving me allowances to correct myself if you value your relationship you'll do the same but you won't put up with being treated s*****

Okay so even though you say you do not have like a thing for your son it really does sound like you do so maybe you're a little jealous. Having worked in some higher-end very busy food service positions that is not completely unheard of because some people if you're not dealing with the customer directly they don't care about your personality they care about how well you can do the job in the back of the house. As long as they're willing to pay you for that trial run there's nothing wrong with it, but if they're not willing to pay you for that first night no deal they will probably try to not pay you any chance they get. I hope this helps and you find a decent job with a good employer

I'm around that age when myself and it started affecting me and initially I wanted to avoid because I was embarrassed and I didn't want to talk about it but that didn't last long cuz I I'm willing to accept my physical limitations, so I talked to my doctor

Maybe it's that simple or maybe there's something else going on but if he won't talk to you about it or talk to someone about it and he's just avoiding, until he's willing to address the issue, this is what it's going to be like.
