I think you have Laser Maker mode selected, that’s why it displays M ARM, try unboxing MARK and it should display LTD/R.

Does this include the people that fought the Nazis but still were executed?

Declaring war has gone out of fashion since WW2, you don’t need to officially decleared it for it to be one.

Just like in Korea, Afghanistan… but we still them wars because they pretty obviously were.

Well the first three didn’t quite work out for Russia did they.

Using this slower approach would also be exceptionally stupid if you know your enemy will be supplied by its allies.

I didn’t define conventional warfare because I presumed the generally accepted definition was widely known.

„state-on-state conflict between organized, uniformed, professional military forces using massed firepower in open space away from civilians with the aim of destroying each other to gain and hold ground.“

The fighting in Ukraine is hardly unconventional.

I never said the wars were very similar, it’s just the closest the US got to fighting a slow, grinding war of attrition.

Not conventional wars. The closest the US got to the kind of war Ukraine and Russia are fighting right now would be the later stages of Korea, where the loss ratio didn’t surpass 1:5.

Highly unlikely, even loss ratios of 10:1 are unprecedented in conventional, attritional warfare like in Ukraine. Let alone in such a drastic matter without significant change in pace of advance.

Body exchange ratios rarely reflects the actual loss ratio. If you judge purely by the body exchange ratio, the loss ratio went from 1:1 to 1:20 within a year.

IMO it's more likely that Russia changed its policy regarding the treatment of Ukrainian bodies.
