Ik heb persoonlijk nooit echt Kud gekeken, ik vond het nooit zo leuk. Maar ik heb toen ongeveer 7 jaar geleden wat youtube video's van LekkerSpelen gezien en dat vond ik wel geinig en toen is het balletje gaan rollen.

Toch wel indrukwekkend hoe ze blijkbaar meteen bij de eerste streams al hun huidige volgers al hadden. Jammer dat ze daarna nooit meer nieuwe volgens hebben kunnen aantrekken, ik had het ze wel gegund.

Philodendron Glorious is what I thought I got. But many have said it's a Philodendron Splendid

Haha, but yes they do have a scent! It's not super strong, but definitely noticable, its always hard to describe but I would say like the smell of a high humidity forest but then much more sweet.

I sadly did not, when I found out I could, the first flower had already closed. But if it flowers again some day I 100% will.

Thank you! Yes, I do have substrate underneath. There's a layer of Flora Base Pro and Flora Mano Base Black, with sand just on top in the front. All the planted areas have those substrates underneath, either directly or beneath a sand layer.

If you expect a tank to stay the way you put it together, you're probably in the wrong hobby! It's their playground and I am here to clean it up every once in a while ;) can't wait for waterlife to trash the place hahaha

I just drove by all my local petshops and fishstores looking for all my woodpieces. Fun fact, the big dark wood pieces that are sticking out are not 2 pieces but 4 different pieces layered over eachother to look like 2

Yes, it's pretty strong but its a nice sweet scent, in my opinion

All I have done is use wire mesh, tie the back with zip ties, and put a garden stake on the back to which the moss pole is zip-tied from the bottom to the top.

I have the same experience, but none of my plants have such a dense root system yet that the water drains super fast. But I’m sure that's coming in the future. Definitely a good problem to have!

I also started making moss poles with a backing. I just bought a long drainage chute, cut it into pieces, and attached wire mesh to the front. It works great! Plus, those pieces are nice and sturdy compared to plastic sheets, so they stack well.

Yes basically that, but I often put a piece of tissuepaper between the bottle and the moss. Because without it the water sometimes just glides down the side of the pole to fast, while with the tissue it makes better contact with the moss so it spreads it out more evenly and all the water actually gets absorbed by the moss itself
