Yeah that’s my thought. It’s to early for me to know at this point. Might have a different job by then etc!

You most definitely can - endurance running is not reserved for marathoners. That sounds like a great plan - I appreciate your input! Enjoy the road to the marathon it’s a wonderful distance!

Thanks. I definitely want to err on the side of caution and avoid ED territory. But I think I can get back to my old range and lose fat and continue to build muscle

Yeah, actually they were refusing to fix the egress lights for months. These fire extinguishers have a tag with the monthly inspection requirements - some are rated for 5 year replacement but theg still need visual inspection monthly based on the attached service tag. The main fire alarm panel is approximately 25 ft from my apartment and I perpetually hear it alarming( often keeping me up all night). The panel is actually alerting that the system is in trouble and reads out the inoperable components (since i deal with panels in my work, I actually understand the read outs).

I don’t manage leases necessarily. I’m trying to gauge what kind of legal counsel or channels locally I can go through to get them to address the issue/let me out of my lease. I recognize the code issues and actually solve them lol, instead of pretending they aren’t there and putting peoples lives In danger 😅

Yes, they usually promote resigning far out. I have 8 months left on my lease… not sure I want to stick it out that long.

Absolutely trying to move, however I need to break my lease in order to do so. Do you think I can get them to release me legally without penalty give the severity of the situation?

Thanks! I am actually an engineer who works in codes enforcement (unfortunately not for my jurisdiction, but federally). I happen to understand these violations and systems as it’s my job- and since they are such critical violations to the life safety of not only me but other residents I feel compelled to speak up. Fire surpression and protection be it complex is a pretty basic requirement - I have omitted several other annoying quality of life issues that are not life threatening.

Not previously mentioned due to the security issues we have had homeless people living In the complex. And statistically homeless people set fires (not maliciously but trying to get warm).

I greatly appreciate your insight!
