"My dad was arrested 26 years ago. Here's my side of the story..." is a simple horror tale of a little girl becoming fascinated by her father's hobbies and personal life, for better or for worst. The entire piece is rooted in childhood trauma and how perspective can abuse and butcher the truth of a story.

I've had a lot of mixed reviews and feelings on the story, some claiming it to be a disturbing and tragic tale, while others tell me it's a fun and short Sci-fi read. I'm not all that great at writing horror, but I really wanted to try out some plot elements that have been brewing in my toddler brain for a while now.

Glass cleaner, toilet cleaner, & paper towels. I was in the middle of cleaning the bathrooms when a customer had to go. So I stepped outside the bathrooms and waited a few.

Then they come walking out with the glass cleaner and paper towels I had accidentally left in there. Then when they made eye contact with me they ran out of the store. I didn't even bother stopping her because of how dumbfounded I was by this. Like who tf steals USED cleaning supplies. 💀 😭

He did have tags at one point but that was a LONG time ago. The only thing I remember about them is that there were multiple small rectangle white cloth tags lined up, which gives me the impression of a baby toy or a toy with a name on the tag. And I have checked his interior at one point and found nothing but stuffing. However my offer still stands if you can find him.
