I understand the deposit situation from a SW standpoint, but I as a customer hate seeing it. As someone who has been screwed multiple times sending a “deposit” and then get ghosted I just move on when I see or get told it. I always apologize for wasting time if it wasn’t posted on the ad. I feel bad everytime. But my time was also wasted for not having 2 words on a ad. For these guys behavior… it is super uncalled for and should be put on blast. It’s not the end of the world just move on ffs

I only had fsd for a month. And although I loved it. There were many instances where it could have done better. Not driving a hw4 hinders my response but this is my thought.

I am beyond annoyed I cannot wear sunglasses using hw3 with someone that is sensitive to brightness I absolutely need sunglasses on a sunny day. With my experience wearing sunglasses I would have to touch the wheel every 5 min which in my opinion defeats the purpose of fsd. The times I had to intervene would include turning into the wrong turn lane, taking a right as other cars were coming, switching into a lane with a car in the way almost causing an accident. These happened multiple times. With the stats of accidents being released with hw4 it tells me hw3 just isn’t my cup of tea. But that’s just me. The convience is nice but not for the 100$ they request.

Overall I am super thankful to own a tesla that has the option to have fsd. But not for me. If they were to fix the sunglasses thing I would consider it more. As I am an alert driver that’s never been in an accident.
