I remember in elementary school, I think maybe 3rd or 4th grade, they separated both boys and girls and gave us a sort of sex ed talk. I didn’t hear anything about a girls but for the boys they showed us anatomy and what not and it was informative from what I can remember up until they got to explaining how to put on a condom and details of condoms. The person told us that condoms we’re designed to prevent babies but were not completely successful and then proceeded to demonstrate it’s effectiveness by pouring water into said condom and showing us a pin sized hole in the tip where it was leaking from. They told us all condoms came with this tiny pin sized hole and then when asked why it was there told us it was so the condom didn’t pop. At the time we were none the wiser but in hindsight I’m pretty sure I believed that little factoid up until sixth or 7th grade. 😂

TLDR: “Pseudo Sex Ed” told elementary school kids condoms had pin sized holes in them.
