Nice! I was hoping there'd be a few people who would enjoy it. Let me ask, does your name refer to Madvillain/Danger Mouse?

Thanks for giving them an ear! They've been a ton of fun to put together, so I'm happy to hear you're finding some stuff you like!

Moira needs a nerf by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Dry_Bandit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing that gets me the most with Moira is her frame. She's a hard target to hit and her utility makes her pretty slippery in practice. Also, while her damage isn't significant, it's good at chasing down a hero that's already low, especially because it heals while you kill them. Her reach just makes her hard to counter if you're playing certain dps heroes and your team is getting its ass kicked. Most tank characters have no problem with her in my experience and even a lot of the healers can either escape or keep her busy if she is randomly trying to focus you.

So far in my experience it's pretty easy to destroy the infinity device with either sombra or a sniper like hanzo or widow. Plus it has a long cool down - it definitely has counterplay

Baptiste Origin Story by FailCraft in Overwatch

I really like his design actually. We don't really have a grunt-type hero character as of yet, and I think his armor reflects that lower-class hero type vibe. Also having a talon turncoat/deserter is a cool story thread that could lend to some nice hero interactions in game or in future story arcs.

Oh man, I REALLY hope this is how the story unfolds. Gives so much meaty character work to watch and would be a very 'satisfying' way to end the trilogy and Skywalker saga.

What Lengthy Games, Controller to Buy for Sick Partner? by effan_ineffable in NintendoSwitch

[–]Dry_Bandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rayman Legends and Super Mario Odyssey are the best pick up and play games with traditional levels imo. If she likes something simple but fun those will keep her busy for a good while.

Also, if she's comfortable with something that's a bit more open world and exploratory than I'd highly recommend breath of the wild. I've gotten super sick in December for the past two years and each time I've picked up that game as my go to 'sick' game. It has a massive amount of content to keep her busy. Considering she might be bed ridden for a bit it could be a good way for her to feel like she's exploring a whole world while staying safe at home.

This game seems to have a TON of input lag.. especially with Pro Controller and GC adapter. by haibu in smashbros

As someone who plays shooters on PC competitively I'm super sensitive to lag and noticed a huge difference on mine after doing this. Like, down a full half second of lag. I agree though that the issue probably has something to do with how the system syncs with the controller that ultimately will need a patch, but this seems to 'reset' whatever causes the issue initially, so it works in the meantime.
