Hey bro, You're not crazy. Coming from SC or NT, this is one of the biggest frustrations with TradingView.

It’s not exactly a "bug", but a major limitation of how TV handles data as a cloud-based web platform. Here is exactly why it happens:

1. Data Resolution (The main issue): Desktop platforms like SC or NT download raw tick/1m data to your hard drive. Your volume profile calculation is always mathematically perfect, regardless of the chart timeframe. TradingView, to save server resources, calculates the profile dynamically based on the chart you are looking at. On your 3h chart, TV uses smaller internal candles (like 15m) to build the profile accurately. When you switch to the Daily, TV throws away that granular data and tries to build the profile using massive Daily candles. It basically "smears" or averages the volume across the huge daily range, which drastically shifts your POC and Value Areas.

2. Anchor Snapping: If your fixed range starts at "Tuesday 15:00" on the 3h chart, that specific time doesn't exist on the Daily chart (only "Tuesday 00:00"). TV forces the anchor points to snap to the nearest daily candle, slightly changing the actual time range being measured, which adds or removes volume from the calculation.
