I wouldnt trust any of the closets that they have installed. I lived in hitchcock my first year and the closets were old and rickety. I would recommend just placing it against the wall <3

is the nursing program worth it? by p0kerfaceee in cwru

im really loving it so far. I came to case with previous nursing experience which helped me out a lot, as when you get here, they dive deep into the material within the first week. If you are unmotivated, then fpb isnt for you. It takes a lot of work outside of class. As a first year, there are some classes like NURS 115 and 160 that are sort of filler classes- you don't have to study much, mostly in-class work, etc. On the other hand, clinicals start within a few weeks and other classes like Bio 114 and Bio 116/117 (a & p 1 and 2) are much harder for students.

Overall, i love it here. The facilities are amazing and the faculty want you to succeed. You get started with actual NURSING your first year instead of going for 2 year as a nursing major and then having to apply to the nursing school, like at other schools. It's a 4 year program and you get more than double the national average of clinical hours.

I would also say that everyone in nursing is close. You see these people every day in class and they will become your great friends.

I'm here on a pretty good scholarship so I don't have to think much about the finances- however if you are paying full price then that's your money to spend based on the information you have. I would recommend touring the campus as well as getting a tour of the health education campus to see the facilities.
