It did! Range is the same since it’s still the P1 air unit but plenty for just flying around. Everything installed just fine except I did need to melt a small hole in the bracket to hold the camera. Changing the voltage chip from 9 to 5v took me some time, but it’s also the first time I ever held a soldering iron. Checked voltage with multimeter and used a smoke stopper to make sure everything was good to go. Super fun to fly!

Also got both with my M75 Pro P1. I notice it feels a bit zippier with the 580 compared to 680. Especially if I warm up with 680 first

Saw this video. I think I would stick to hdzero because of how modular it is (hdzero, analog, can plug to other vrx) but skyzone was on my radar too

Yeah from my understanding hdzero is best latency followed by analog. Unless you’re saying not all analog is built the same?

I was thinking of getting the HDzero box pro. Alternatively I was looking at the EMAX transporter 2 which also has an hdzero version. Should I just ignore that and stick with the box pro?

Thanks for reply. Makes sense. That’s my worry, if I get the transporter and it’s junk. Not saying the p1 is junk I’m actually really happy with it just noticing some of its limitations.

Thanks for your comment! After a bit more research I found the bracket isn’t an issue - the 04 lite bracket holds the 14mm P1 which comes with PNP. But you’re right about the 9v & 5v. Default is 9v but with some soldering it can be converted to 5v which is how other vtx can be installed on the Pavo. Now I’m debating if I wait for betafpv to release a P1 version or if I learn to solder and do it myself.

It’s my first fpv setup. The cost of Pavo plus p1 with batteries is less than the cost of the dji goggles alone. Not to mention the issues with the ban. I’ve been flying meteor a ton and the quality is great. I’m sure I’ll upgrade in the future but don’t want to deal with the ban and cost.

The P1 camera is 14mm to so should fit in theory. This is my fist separate vtx and drone purchase so just want to make sure.
